What do we spend the money on?
In addition to organizing camps, with the help of our supporters and partner organizations, we regularly organize fundraising campaigns. Here are our programs:
Christmas for a Thousand Children
For years, more than 1,000 children have received Christmas gifts through our foundation, delivered by our volunteers as part of the "Winter Tour".
CRISIS FOOD Program
During the Winter Tour+ organized at the end of January, we collect and purchase non-perishable food, which forms the basis of our CRISIS FOOD program. When our resources allow, we supplement it with baby care and hygiene products.
Spring programs
We organize Children's Day programs and day trips in numerous communities, and ensure the smooth logistics of our summer camps.
School supplies tour
Every autumn, as part of our School Supplies Tour, we strive to make the start of school easier for 200-400 children.
Community Cauldron
We cook together with partner organizations, companies, groups of friends, and sports clubs at rural locations. In winter, we can provide 600-1,000 portions of hearty warm meals to people living in difficult circumstances.
Emergency situations
In case of floods, snow disasters, or other crises, we quickly mobilize our resources so that affected families receive help as soon as possible.
Frequently asked questions
Every individual who pays personal income tax (PIT) — whether an employee, sole proprietor, or primary producer — is eligible to offer 1% of their tax to a chosen civil organization.
No! The 1% goes to the foundation from the tax you would pay anyway. If you don't designate it, the amount goes to the state treasury. So it costs you nothing, but it's a huge help for us!
Through the government portal (Ügyfélkapu), or if you don't have an account, you can do it on the same page without registration.
Another option is to ask your accountant for help — you need to provide the name Remény Kora Gyermekvédelmi Alapítvány and the tax number: 18287204-1-08.
You can also do this by mail — fill out the EGYSZA declaration form and send it in a separate sealed envelope together with your tax return to the NAV (tax authority) address.
If the NAV (tax authority) prepares your tax return, they will notify you to review it. At that point, you can also specify who you would like to offer your 1% tax to.
Log in to the eSZJA portal with your government account (or accessible without registration). In the "Designation declaration" section, enter our foundation's tax number: 18287204-1-08. That's all!
The deadline for the tax return and the 1% declaration is usually between February 15 and May 20. The designation declaration must be submitted together with the tax return. Don't leave it to the last minute!
Yes, the designation declaration must be made every year as part of the tax return. If you don't declare, last year's offer will not apply automatically.
Remember: it costs you nothing!
If you don't designate your 1% tax, the amount goes to the state treasury. Offer it to us and help children in need!
